Some information is collected directly from you. Other information may be collected automatically through website, security, email, form, payment and analytics technologies.
6. Why I use your information.
UK data protection law requires a valid lawful basis for processing personal information. The lawful basis depends on why the information is being used.
Email subscriptions. When you join the email list, I use your name, email address and preferences to send the seven-day email series, the weekly newsletter, and closely related editorial or service information described when you subscribe. Lawful basis: consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or contacting me.
Private promotional information. After the email series, I may send a hand-raiser email asking whether you would like information about a relevant private resource or offer. If you do not request the information, you remain on the normal weekly newsletter path and do not receive that promotional sequence. If you actively request the information, I use that choice to send the specific private details and related short promotional sequence. Lawful basis: consent.
Contact and correspondence. I use information you provide to read, manage and respond to enquiries. Lawful basis: legitimate interests in communicating with readers, customers and relevant professional contacts.
Diagnostics and personalised results. I use diagnostic answers to calculate and deliver your dominant decision-making profile, personalise your result, identify material patterns in the decision pressure you describe, provide related follow-up that you have requested, improve the diagnostic and associated resources, and analyse aggregated or anonymised patterns. Lawful basis: consent when you voluntarily complete a free diagnostic; contract where the diagnostic forms part of a purchased product or service.
Purchases and delivery. I use customer information to process and confirm a purchase, deliver the product or service, provide access and onboarding, respond to customer-support requests, and administer refunds, complaints or disputes. Lawful basis: contract.
Accounting and legal records. I may retain transaction and business records where required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute management or other legal purposes. Lawful basis: legal obligation and, where appropriate, legitimate interests.
Website security. Technical information may be used to protect accounts and forms, detect spam, fraud or malicious activity, investigate errors, and maintain website security and availability. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
Website and service improvement. I may use limited information to understand which pages and subjects are useful, whether forms and emails function correctly, where visitors encounter problems, and how the reader and customer experience can be improved. Lawful basis: legitimate interests where no consent is required; consent where cookies or similar technologies require it.
Feedback and testimonials. I may ask for optional feedback about the website, diagnostic, content or a purchased product. Feedback may be used internally to improve the work. I will not publish your name, identifiable quotation or personal story as a testimonial without appropriate permission. Lawful basis: legitimate interests for requesting and reviewing feedback; consent for publishing an identifiable testimonial.
7. Email communications.
When you join the email list, you will receive the seven-day email series, then the weekly newsletter. The introductory series contains no selling.
After the series, I may send a separate hand-raiser email inviting you to request information about a private resource or offer.
If you do not raise your hand, you continue receiving the weekly newsletter as normal. You are not automatically placed into the private promotional sequence.
If you raise your hand, you may receive access to the relevant private diagnostic or information, your requested diagnostic result, a short promotional sequence concerning that specific offer, and/or other similar offers and necessary purchase and onboarding emails if you buy.
You can unsubscribe from editorial and promotional emails at any time. Purchase confirmations, access information and other necessary service communications may still be sent where required to fulfil a transaction.
Email measurement. The email provider may record delivery, bounces, opens, link clicks, unsubscribes, and communication preferences. This information is used only where the relevant tracking is enabled and legally permitted.
8. Diagnostics and Profiles.
Diagnostics if offered are reflective and educational diagnostics. It uses your submitted answers to identify your dominant decision-making pattern.
The result may be used to personalise the profile explanation you receive, relevant follow-up emails you have requested, and examples or guidance relating to your decision pattern.
The profile is not: a medical or psychological diagnosis; a formal psychometric assessment; a judgement of intelligence or capability; a fixed statement of identity; legal, financial, medical or other professional advice; or a decision about your eligibility for employment, credit, insurance, education, healthcare or another significant service.
The profile may be produced automatically from the answers you submit, but it is not used to make a decision that has a legal or similarly significant effect upon you. You remain responsible for deciding whether the result is useful and how, if at all, you apply it.
9. AI-assisted working practices.
I use AI-assisted tools in parts of my own research, drafting, organisation, analysis and product-development work. Where personal information is involved, I aim to use only what is reasonably necessary, remove identifying details where practical, avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information, review AI-assisted work using human judgement, and avoid allowing an AI system to make a legally or similarly significant decision about an individual.
Diagnostic answers, contact messages and customer information will not be deliberately shared with an AI provider merely for convenience where the same purpose can reasonably be achieved without identifiable information.
AI-assisted tools support the work. They do not replace human responsibility for how personal information is handled.
10. Cookies and similar technologies.
The website may use cookies or similar technologies to operate essential website functions, remember privacy choices, secure forms and transactions, support email sign-up and checkout, enable embedded services, and measure website use where optional analytics have been enabled.

Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, security and dispute-management requirements.

Consent records may be retained for as long as reasonably required to demonstrate and respect those choices.
When information is no longer required, it will be deleted, anonymised or securely archived as appropriate.
14. Your rights.
Depending on the circumstances and lawful basis, UK data protection law may give you the right to be informed about how your information is used, request access to your personal information, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, request deletion of your information, ask for processing to be restricted, object to certain processing, request transfer of information you provided in a portable format, withdraw consent at any time where consent is the lawful basis, raise concerns about automated processing, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
These rights are not absolute and may not apply in every situation.
To make a request, contact manoj@manojtailor.com. I may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity.
You also have the right to complain to the UK supervisory authority:

I use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information. Depending on the services used, these may include reputable hosting and service providers, restricted account access, strong passwords, two-factor authentication where available, encrypted website connections, secure payment processing, software and plugin updates, spam and security controls, data minimisation, and regular review of the tools used.
No website, email system or online service can guarantee complete security. Please avoid sending confidential or highly sensitive information through ordinary email or public website forms.

This website and its products are intended for adults. I do not knowingly invite children to join the email list, complete the diagnostic or purchase products. Please do not submit personal information about a child unless it is genuinely necessary, lawful and appropriate.

17. Third-party links and embedded content.
The website may link to or embed material from third-party websites, platforms or services. Those third parties have their own privacy practices. I am not responsible for how an external website or service collects and uses information after you leave this website or interact directly with its content. Review the relevant third party's privacy information before submitting personal data.
18. Changes to this policy.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when website services change, a new provider is introduced, a new diagnostic or product is launched, legal requirements or regulatory guidance change, or the way personal information is used changes.
The current version and last-updated date will remain available on this page. Where a change materially affects how existing subscriber or customer information is used, an appropriate notice or new consent will be provided where required.
